Guatemala 2005 is a short-term mission outreach to the people of Guatemala
scheduled for the days of December 31-January 10, 2005. Our team of
25 will be serving with missionaries David and Dottie Craig and their
seven children who live near the city of Quetzaltenango.
Our objectives for this mission are to build a sound proof ceiling
for the church/ seminary building and a guest house for future ministry
teams. Other ministries will include preaching, teaching, testimonies,
and music ministry in the local churches. There will be times scheduled
for tract distribution in the city. The ladies will be leading a vacation
Bible school for the children.
According to the World Fact Book, the Republic of Guatemala

Religion in Guatemala is predominately Catholicism. Although the Catholic
Church has suffered great decline in influence and numbers because
of many who defected to Protestantism, the country still has a large
population of Roman Catholics. |
